About

Colouring your hair is like painting, except our white canvas is yellow.

The yellowness in our hair, despite having it bleached, interferes with the dyes that we introduce. This prevents us from getting the colours that we want.

By adding IRIS Anti-Yellow Toner in your colour mixture, you can remove the yellowness to have a ‘white canvas’ to work on, allowing you to express yourselves in the colours that you desire!

Consult a professional for optimal results.

How It Works

Add this product into the colour-developer mixture and mix thoroughly. Then, apply and proceed with the colouring phase as usual.

  • Note: IRIS Permanent Colour Dye has two ratios when mixing with the developer, 1:2 for colours with the letters ‘P’ and ‘C’ in front of the number (ie: P8.62, C7.1), and 1:1.5 for colours without any letter in front. Hence, we have two columns on the developer used in the table above.

  • Example: A 100ml of IRIS 8.1 will be mixed with 50ml of IRIS Anti Yellow Toner and 225ml of IRIS Developer for the medium anti-yellow scenario.

Directions

Ever notice how our hair tends to be yellow after bleaching?

As shown above, as we lighten our hair, the contributing pigment changes from red to orange to yellow. The yellow pigments interfere with hair dyes and prevent us from getting the colours that we really want.

  • For instance, when silver dye is applied, the yellowness interacts with the silver pigments, resulting in a matt and greenish look instead. (Silver + Yellow = Matt/Green)

  • IRIS Anti Yellow Toner contains molecules that interact with the yellow pigments in our hair to neutralize them and to give us better a colouring result.
